HOW RIVERSIDE RECOVERY IS DIFFERENT

Riverside Recovery Services was built on a dream that, owner Amy Smart, began envisioning in 2008.
Amy is a recovering addict herself and spent five years at the Ohio Reformatory for Women because of choices and decisions that she made while in active addiction. While incarcerated, Amy began journaling and planning how, when she returned home, she would be part of the solution and no longer part of the drug epidemic problem.
When she returned home in 2010, she began working for agencies in Lawrence County Ohio and gained knowledge on operating a program that she would one day have.
In 2015, she began taking the steps to open Riverside Recovery Services, LLC.
Amy’s dream of serving those in need came true in October 2015, when Riverside opened it’s first outpatient office. Since that time, Riverside has expanded services to Knox County, Coshocton County, and Morrow County Ohio.
Riverside understands the importance of second chances and has hired whenever possible those also in recovery, giving those staff a second chance to be a part of the solution.
Today in 2021, Riverside offers Non-Intensive Outpatient services. Intensive Outpatient Services, Residential Services for Men & Women as well as Transition/Sober Living for Men and Women.
